5. Financial
Assistance
A limited number of partial scholarships are
available, and will be awarded to composers and
performers based on the strength of their
application. Only applicants who
meet all enrollment
deadlines are eligible for consideration. For
college/university students only.

6. Enrollment
requests are processed in the order received. Enrollment is open to
individuals 18 years
of age and older. Exceptions will be
made for students under 18 with parental consent. Enrollment
is limited; if capacity is full, we may offer
alternative dates which you must accept/decline within 7
days. Payments will be returned immediately
for those applicants not accepted. All enrolled
participants will receive written confirmation
and further festival information. This festival is offered
based on a minimum number of participants. Toscana Americana Music may cancel
this workshop
if the minimum number of participants is not
met by 15 April 2007. Submit one form per person,
including non-participating guests. |
7. Evaluation
CD for applicants in Performance Studies
Applicants must submit a CD recording
featuring live, un-edited performances of two contrasting
works. Repertoire of any period is acceptable,
and should reflect the applicant's current level of
ability. The purpose of this recording is to
aid us in assigning an appropriate piece for performance
at the festival. Please also include a
repertoire list of pieces performed
within the past 2 years.

8. Submission of Scores for applicants in
Composition Studies
In order to receive a performance at the
festival, applicants must submit two works: (i) a previously
unperformed
score for any solo or chamber combination of piano, flute, violin, or
guitar; and (ii) an
additional work of any instrumentation -
include a CD of any recorded performances (midi realization
accepted). Scores utilizing electronic media
may also be submitted under either category above.
