Anne KU England Biography Born in Brunei of Chinese parents, Anne Ku began piano lessons under Kazuko Shimosato in Okinawa at age 8. She learned theory from Betsy Hermann, and later studied piano under Randall Love at Duke University. Her professional non-musical jobs took her to Singapore, London, and Houston, where she continued to compose and play the piano. Currently she is studying composition at Utrecht Conservatory in the Netherlands. She has a piano guitar duo with Dutch guitarist Robert Bekkers with whom she also organizes house concerts for international artists.
